Caffè Nero – case study

We are proud of our successful, established relationship with Caffè Nero. Having worked together for a number of years, starting with 130 stores we concluded with handling the weekly and monthly requirements for 570+ stores nationwide.

During our nine years of service, Progression instigated many cost and time saving initiatives; from installing a hot line so stores could order from us directly, to the purchase, production and storage of key items for instant call off.

 

Design and artwork

Weekly/monthly design assistance.
Monthly product label creation (including the original design and creation of a card based label system that saved considerable production costs.
Overflow design services/bespoke store requests (ensuring always with brand guidelines).
The writing of brand guidelines, along with the policing of their implementation

 

Print and production (own in-house facility)

5 colour, B2 litho press.
Digital SRA3.

OCE Arizona flat bed printer.
Able to print onto any substrate up to 48mm thick.
No need for screen printing – we can print white!
Both roll and flat bed capabilities up to 2.5m wide.

State of the art graphics cutting machinery.
We are able to cut any substrate up to 12mm thick into intricate shapes.
Lamination and specialist finishes – all in-house.

 

Fulfillment and stock storage

A dedicated team of staff responsible for the day today/monthly fulfillment of store requests.
A designated, secure area for valuable stock (including loyalty card stamps and props)
– only nominated staff have access.
A dedicated phone/fax/email line for stores/HO
to speak directly to us.

6,000sq ft facility. Secure, heated and alarmed.
Storage of merchandise and promotional stock.
Twice monthly stock control reports for both props and general merchandise, to assist with re-order trigger levels.
